Budget Plan
Due to the amount I need to spend for my music video, I have created a 'budget plan' to make sure that I stick to my budget and can for anything I need to buy whilst filming. This will help me prepare for emergencies and will ensure that I do not overspend.
In total I will spend £35 which isn't too expensive especially compared to the budgets used for actual music videos made in the industry. For each item, I researched to find the best price. Here are some example of what I purchased:
This post was concise however very helpful as before I completed this post I did not know how much the music video would cost in total. Knowing the price can now help me save up for the items; as well as this I will also be taking with me 'emergency money' to the shoot days in the case of an emergency. For example, I think that the 7th July is going to be very hot so if I run out of water I can buy some more. This is included in my risk assessment.
Your budget is very small which is good yet hopefully the actual music video will not reflect on how much you spent. How will you make sure that your video looks more professional, as if you have spent a lot more money on the production?
ReplyDeleteHopefully my video will look professional. Often in the industry they may buy brand new equipment however I did not factor in the price of my camera because it was purchased around 2 years ago. The quality of my camera is very good so I am hoping I can do justice to the shots. Also, I think that a lot of a videos success could be because of how it is edited, so over the summer I will be looking out for new techniques as well as researching what I can do on my own software to make it look good.
